Goldie Gorilla
Goldie Gorilla was the first custom stuffed gorilla in the “Gorillas in Their Mitts” Program. After Goldie was retired, GGC went to “kid-inspired” designs when creating their next gorilla. Kid-inspired designs are generated from interactions with kids that have demonstrated exceptional compassion in helping others.
Transfusion Gorilla
“Transfusion Gorilla” was a design inspired by Hannah S. whose message to GGC was “not everyone has money, but everyone has blood. We need transfusions often, so ask your friends to donate blood.”
Gift Card Gorilla
Gift Card Gorilla was inspired by Brooklyn C. who started a program that gave away restaurant gift cards to kids who finished their daily treatments at a prominent outpatient Wichita Oncologist’s office.
